Students Artwork Is Selected For A Sustainable Future

Three Creative Arts Students from Gateway Sixth Form College have had their work selected to feature in the Sixth Form Colleges Association (SFCA) prestigious annual exhibition with the theme this year being about a sustainable future. 

This online exhibition is a clarion call to us all to engage in the climate and sustainability agenda. Dipa Dilip from Foundation Diploma submitted an animation created for Earth Advocates about the effect that mobile phones have the bonobos habitat, Umar Ahmed an A level Art and Photography student submitted a film still from a piece looking at Leicester fashion factories and modern slavery and Dhruvi Ramesh from Extended Diploma submitted a piece about sustainable clothing – make do and mend a garment made from recycled clothing.
