A Level Revision conferences by experienced examiners are arranged each year. External trips include visits to the Jaguar Car Plant and a visit to the ASDA (George) distribution centre. 

Course Duration

This A’ level is a two year course.

Exam board is Edexcel

Entry Requirements

Maths at Grade 5+, English Language at Grade 5+ and a minimum of three more GCSE’s at grade 4 or above.

Subject content

  • What is business?
  • Managers, leadership and decision-making.
  • Decisions to improve performance in marketing, operations, finance and human resources.
  • Analysing the strategic position of a business.

Externally assessed examination. All exams are taken at the end of two years of study.

Paper 1 –  2hrs. (Data response and essay)

Paper 2 – 2hrs. (Data response and essay)

Paper 3 – 2hrs. (Data response and essay)
