We are backing a brand new national digital campaign called Skills for Life, promoting the brand new addition of T Level courses to the curriculum here at Gateway Sixth Form College.
During this week, look out on our social media platforms where you can find exciting content highlighting T Level qualifications we offer, including three new courses and Foundation programmes from September 2024.
We will also be showcasing our student case studies throughout the week, of students who have competed a industry placement. This important work experience opportunity forms part of the T Level technical courses.
We are also looking forward to sharing with you some course-related videos featuring our students and staff. The videos will go live online, on T Level Thursday, taking place on Thursday 8th February 2024. T

What are T Levels?
Essentially T Level courses are built with the intention of setting students up for an employment mindset and providing them with the skills they need for their future career. 80% of the course will be spent in college, while the 20% portion will allow students to participate in a 45 day work placement focused on their chosen career pathway.
T Level courses allow students to progress from a Foundation programme onto a T Level two year course. Post-18 options for T Level students include a pathway into university, a place onto a degree apprenticeship, employment or even further training in their desired career across Healthcare, Education, Craft and Design, Media, Business, Science and I.T
