This T Level offers a well-rounded education in education and early years, covering key aspects such as child development, safeguarding, curriculum planning, and practical teaching skills. It combines classroom learning with industry placements, giving students real-world experience.
The curriculum includes modules on educational psychology, early years education, and special educational needs. Students will engage in practical teaching experiences, gaining valuable insights into effective teaching strategies and classroom management.
Assessment methods include a mix of examinations, practical assessments, and work placements. The course is designed to evaluate both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
As part of this course, students are required to undertake 750 hours of work placement developing skills within the industry.
