Assessment of Diploma
There are 2 assessment routes, either on-screen multiple choice tests and/or completion of evidence booklets and portfolio of evidence. You will be assessed on various credit values that are mandatory and optional units - 14 credits overall.
- Understanding Customer Service in the Retail Sector
- Understanding the Retail Selling Process
- Understanding How Individuals and Teams Contribute to the Effectiveness of a Retail Business
- Understanding How a Retail Business Maintains Health and Safety on it's Premises
This is a vocationally related credit based qualification designed to give a broad understanding of all key aspects of the retail environment and will include a work placement in the retail sector.
This qualification can be used as part of the entry requirements for level 3 vocational courses, or can be used to enhance career prospects within the retail industry. The qualification can also be used as part of the Retail Modern Apprenticeship programme
Learners can gain sector relevant knowledge that is desired by retail organisations; learners will achieve in “bite sized chunks” and e-assessment is available on demand giving learners the benefits of continued achievement and progression.
